Smoking risks and resources
| Individuals: The team at the Eastcentral Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center is committed to helping you quit smoking. If you are interested in how to get information on quitting smoking please contact Tobacco Cessation Educator at 610-379-2001 . Business and Work site Cessation: We will conduct free Tobacco Cessation classes on-site for employees wanting to be smoke free using the American Lung Associations "Freedom from Smoking " class. Classes are 8 weeks long, 1 hour each session and provide the smoker with many tools and information that support the success of smokers wanting to kick the nicotine habit. Nicotine Replacement Therapy ,(patches) will be provided for the class participants. An added benefit is smoke free work sites/employees often receive discounts form their insurance companies.
